Namaste's Story

[Back to Index]

My name is Namaste. I came by that name when I showed up at and joined a yoga class at Club Orient in Feb. of 2003. I was about one then. I even did some of the positions!! I'm the black dog on the left. (That's my friend Baba on the right.)
Namaste means "When you are in your truth and I am in mine we are one." As for me.. I'm not concerned about your truth because it is ALL ABOUT ME. After all I was found on the French side of St. Martin. I do have a LOT of spirit. I love to run and hunt and my home in North Bend, Washington, allows me to do that. I'm about 47 lbs. now. Really I'm a princess who got stuck in a dog's body!! My very very best friend is BaBa who also came from Club Orient.
Namaste and BaBa graduated from obedience class and both of them got MOST IMPROVED. Ribbons and all!

Don't accept your dog's admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.
