Mee Too's Story

[Back to Index]

Mee Too
The truth-- Meetoo and Kami snarled and growled at each other for about a day. (Kami is another adoptee from Club Orient.) Now they're sleeping and eating together. Couldn't have been easier.

Meetoo wants to go outside but there's a lot of snow and she's not quite sure about that. She learned to go in and out one of the cat doors in about three minutes. (Very smart cat!) I haven't found any accidents around the house so I guess she's using the box. Once Kami teaches her how to go out the other door and over the obstacle course to the outside she'll be on her own. Our house is gigantic and she has lots of places to explore.

Watching her go up stairs the first time was cute and now she roars up and down. She follows me everywhere especially when I go up and down stairs. She's skittish about a lot of things but getting better. Of course every time I picked her up was to put her in the travel bag and she remembers.

Mee Too's human thinking about her.
Editor's Note:
Meetoo was abandoned when the former asst. manager left his job in Sept. 2004. She had been raised by him and his 2 dogs since she was a kitten...but he just didn't want her any more. She lived in the small outdoor laundry room of this vacant house for about 5 months. She was very frightened of other cats and would hide behind the washer/dryer or up on the shelving during most of the day but occasionally ventured out at night. She loved people though and she obviously had become accustomed to living under a roof, as opposed to out in the wide open spaces with her more feral neighbors,so she was a perfect candidate for adoption.
