Copper's Story

[Back to Index]

Marty (left) & Copper with Dorothy
Copper (on the right) was found at the vets, a tiny 2 pound puppy in terrible health. His litter mate had died but he was struggling to survive. After paying the significant vet bill, Copper was mine.

It took about a month to clean up the intestinal parasites, tick fever, and mange. (Note: All these ailments are routinely curable.) He is now a lovely and healthy 7 pound mix of lively chihuahua and dachshund. He lives with two other island dogs on Narragansett Bay in the summer and spends winters in Florida.
